Hamstring pain in runners

If you’ve recently a hamstring injury , or if you’ve been suffering with it  a while - it can be very tempting to pass it off as “nothing serious” and simply “put up with it” carrying on as best you can.

Or, it can be very easy to get disheartened and end up feeling “stuck”, wondering if you’ll ever be able to get back to running and keep active again

If that’s happening to you, you’re not alone - we see people going through this all the time.

Are you asking yourself this?

“It’s Been Months Now - So Why am I STILL Suffering With this Injury That’s Stopping Me From RUNNING?”...

Here are three reasons for hamstring injuries in runners:

1- L5-S1 Facilitation:

Are you asking what the hell does that mean? It simply means there is something wrong with your lower back.

Are you asking I don't have any back pain or what's the relation? Simply the hamstring is innervated from this particular nerve root and if anything compress or stimulate this nerve root you will feel it in your hamstring.

2- Real Hamstring strain:

Which means you really have injured your hamstring and this needs rehabilitation even though it's a minor strain because you don't want this to happen again.

3- Superior tibiofibular joint hypomobility or instability:

The hamstring (biceps femoris muscle) is attached to the fibula ( the small bone on the side of the knee) and if this joint isn't functioning and STUCK it will pull the hamstring causing severe pain and a lot of runners think it's a hamstring strain.
